Just Because...

This is a just because post. I have a journal for each of my kids, but since I started blogging I rarely write in their journals. The problem is I don't blog about what is going on in their lives nearly enough!! I just know I will blink and they will be grown and I won't be able to remember all of the little things that made me smile. So here are a few things to remember...

Madison...
Ms. Madison is growing up way too fast! She is getting to be so big. As I always point out, she is a kind and compassionate soul. I can't not say it because that truly defines her! She has been telling me "I love you, Mommy" at least 15-20 times a day lately and I LOVE it!! I am trying to soak it in each time!! She is in her third year (I think that' right) of acting at the Art Institute of Mansfield. She loves it. She did several plays where she was just an extra and she was most comfortable with that. As a matter of fact we had a few cry sessions at the mention of maybe taking on a speaking part. Well, in her last play she was assigned a speaking part (two sentences) and although she was nervous, she did a great job!! Today she came home from acting and she had a script for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She is going to be Dopey! She has a ton of lines. She was nervous, but so far no tears! I know she will do great! It looks like we will be rehearsing at dinner every night for the next month or so!

Abby...
Ms. Abby has started Mother's Day Out three days a week. She LOVES it!! She has a boyfriend in her class named Sam. If you remember, I have posted about her boyfriend in her Sunday school class named Benjamin. He hasn't been kicked out of her heart...she has just made room for two boyfriends. I'm thinking I should be very worried about this!! I pray that she uses her strong will and determination for good because I know for sure she will make a mark on this world!! She and Max are becoming even closer than they were before. They are both independent and like their alone time, but they have a special bond and seem to have an understanding...that is until he breaks into her room and takes one of "her" toys...ha ha!

Max...
Mr. Max...can you say CUTE!!! He is talking more and more. He goes to the same Mother's Day Out as Abby but he only goes two days a week. His teachers love him. He absolutely LOVES to go as well and doesn't even turn back to glance at me when I drop him off. He is very happy in almost all situations! He is definitely two though. He really doesn't like to be told no or that he has to stay at the table until we're all done eating etc. He is out of the crib and the highchair. I feel sad about that because there is a chance he will be my last! I try not to think about it too much though! He is very affectionate and although he's not much of a cuddler, he dishes out hugs and kisses often! His favorite word and thing is train. He is a blast!!!

Matt is working on a devotional book. I think it is going to be awesome! He has a gift with words and I can't wait to see how God chooses to use it! He is also still teaching (6th grade this year) and I know his students are blessed in that he makes them want to come to school. I recently went to Women of Faith in San Antonio with my best friend Jennfifer and he stayed home from Thursday to Sunday with the kids. He even took them to HG on Friday and church on Sunday. He is a wonderful Dad and husband!!

As for me, I am only doing the home daycare three days a week and only have my two(three when Madison gets home) and Emma. I've had Emma since she was a newborn and she feels just like one of my own! She and Max get along GREAT! They are both pretty easy going about things. They both steal toys from each other but usually they just let the other take the toy and move on. It's pretty funny to watch!
I now have more time to focus on getting the photography to be my full time job. I still absolutely LOVE it! I feel like it's what I was made to do! I am constantly praying that I would keep my focus on God and His plan for it and not my own. It's too easy to get caught up in it all and I want my life to be about glorifying Him.

Now on to the pictures I promised! These are just some recent ones I took for the fun of it!

Max hasn't quite gotten used to the toddler bed. We find him sleeping on the floor often at night and have to put him back in his bed.
