Day 31 of 365...

Well, I honestly thought I would never shoot a wedding! Never say never!! My step-brother Patrick got married this past weekend and I was promised that they understood I was a beginner and wanted me to shoot it anyway! Noel (Patrick's wife) and her mom, who hired me, were sooooo much fun to work for! I know there were many prayers going up for me that day because I truly felt a peace I didn't expect. I've now edited about 1/4 of the pictures and I am liking them. I, of course, am my own worst critic though and see the imperfections, but I'm learning that my eye is is getting pickier and pickier. This is a good thing because it will make me a better photographer, but in the meantime it comforts me to know that others see my work in a better light than I do. Anyway, it's late and I am tired and rambling. Here are a few pics from the wedding.

Here are six weird things about me

1. I am a compulsive list maker to the point that I have to write everything I want to do for the day down and I either order it by number or by time.
2. I must do a mini devotional and complete a sudoku before I fall asleep every night.
3. I take a benadryl and run my very loud humidifier every night (usually without water in it) so that I can drown out my husband's snoring
4. I am very afraid of driving on overpasses (I read someone elses list with this too...I'm glad I'm not alone)
5. I am training for a half marathon and as a result one of my toenails is black and about to fall off! Ewwww!
6. I drink two mugfuls of coffee every morning. It has to be half regular and half decaf and I must have my Hazelnut creamer. If I am not home I will bring it with me!
