Day 6 of 365

As far as good pictures go, this wouldn't rank very high, but this is one I want to learn more about what to do in this situation. Tonight my daughter was a flower in the play the Nutcracker. We were not allowed to take flash pictures and I was using my 50mm 2.8 lens so I could open up my aperature as wide as possible. However, this meant I could not zoom in so the picture is cropped quite a bit. I also couldn't get out of my seat because I didn't want to disrupt the actors and my 3 year old daughter was sitting in my lap squirming like crazy to see "Sissy".
Here are my settings

f/2.8
ss 1/60
ISO 1600 run through noiseware but there really wasn't much noise (why is that?)
Auto white balance (because I have no idea what kind of lights they use for stage productions.

HHCC Always Apprecited!!
