Day 8 of 365

This week's challenge theme is "Introduction of Yourself to the Peas". I would have loved to start off with a self-portrait (since that would make sense)or a picture that represents my faith, or a pic of my family (since those are the two things I hold most dear), but I was too lazy to put on make-up, my wall cross is in one of my Christmas boxes because I (gasp) haven't put away my Christmas decor yet and it just wasn't the right day to take a pic of my family (you know those days). So I was trying to think of something else that represents me and I guess it would be my latest adventure (well except for photography) which is training for a half marathon. We run February 10th (I must teach my husband how to use the camera by then). I have trained up to 7 miles and we'll be going 13, but I'll be ready.

Settings:
f/2.8
ss 1/40
ISO 400

HHCC always appreciated!

I tip my hat to you on the running. I starting running last summer. It about killed me. I discovered two things about myself...
1. I hate to run
2. I hate to run...oh wait, that is the same as number 1.

I guess I discovered one thing about myself. :)

I will be sending you positive vibes for your half marathon, as you will be running it on MY BIRTHDAY!

Love the composition of the shot and the DOF. It's great to find out so much more about people. All the best with the running.
