I'm running a bit late but I got my first pic in. This is Charlie. He is a shih-tzu and was my seven year old daughters Christmas present a few years ago. For some reason my shutter speed doesn't show up in my file info. ever in PSE 4.0. Anyone know why? Otherwise aperature 1.8, ISO 200, no flash, center weighted metering...not sure when/why this should be changed but hoping to figure that out during the course of the next 364 days!!! Can't wait to see everyone else's pics!!

Cute Doggy, and good catch lights! How did you have your color balance set? The fur is a bit blue to my eye. But it's a cute photo!

Charlie looks to be a sweetheart! I like the low lighting in this one. Looks good.

Excellent - cute dog, great capture. It seems a little blue/underexposed on my screen as well, but my screen might be wonky! Adorable!! I'm not sure how to check the settings once the photos are downloaded to the computer.

Love the pup! Great way to start off the new year. The picture does look a bit underexposed on my computer as well. I don't know if that was the look you were going for.

Thanks for sharing!

Too cute. Dogs make great subjects. They certainly are more cooperative than my children! LOL. Anyway - nice shot - I would like to see this a little brighter and I think b&w would be fabulous!
