Day 39 of 365
Yay! I finally had a chance to get some photos that match the POTD topic. This week is botanicals and these are my houseplants. I wish I had a macro lens but that will have to wait until I get the 244 other things I want to learn about photography figured out!

On another note...I realized I never just add a good old fashioned post about what is going on in my life and this is really my journal so I'm going to try and wrap it all up in a few sentences. I am persuing photography as a career, but I know that will be a more couple years down the road if it is even in God's plan for me. In the meantime I am portfolio building with 50% off prices and loving it. I have so many things to learn and it has been so fun!! I wish I had 4 extra hours a day (or so) just to read photography books and visit photography forums. I am also still taking care of six kids during the day (seven when Madison gets home from school). My three plus Luke and Ryan who are 8 months old and soooo stinkin' cute!! Emma who I've had for a year now and she feels like a part of my family. She has the best belly laugh and personality. You can tell exactly what she's thinking by her expressions. I also take care of Garrett who is two. He is learning new words all of the time and is becoming friends with Abby (slowly but surely). I won't say that I'm not tired and that I don't have my moments of frustration, but I feel that God has placed each of these children in this home childcare for a reason and I do my best to give them the nurturing and guidance they need to feel good about themselves amd to have the confidence and social skills they need for kindergarten and beyond to be a good experience for them. I am also training for a half marathon. Well I guess the training is over because the half marathon is this Saturday. Say a prayer that it doesn't rain! I am going to lose two of my toenails because of all the running, but it really doesn't bother me. It just reminds me that I have been working really hard!! Okay, that was more than a few sentences.

Good luck on the race! Which one are you running in?
Beautiful and crisp colors. Great job. I also love the Valentine's card :)
