Day 64...

I don't have a POTD to post just yet. Instead I thought I would copy my step-sis megan's idea and blog a detailed list of my day. I actually wrote all of this down as the day went on last Wednesday. Warning...this is long. I really thought it would be fun to look back on this entry in a few years and remember what it is like to have small children and run a home daycare at the same time. I'm not complaining though, I am actually very grateful to be able to stay home savor these once in a lifetime memories! This is a very detailed list...probably way more than you would ever care to know, but I'm a details person so here we go...

7:05...Matt woke me up where I proceeded to Madison's room to pick out her and Abby's clothes for the day then to the kitchen to make Madison's lunch. Turned the TV on for Abby and got dressed and ready for the day, fixed Madison's hair and kissed she and Matt goodbye.

7:35...The twins and Emma arrived at the same time, got Max up and fixed breakfast for Emma and Max and made bottles for the twins (Luke and Ryan)

8:00...gave the babies their bottles (so glad they can hold them now), made my coffee, tried to return a phone call I got before I woke up and submitted my February food program claim on-line. I also check my e-mails (which usually means deleting about 5 or so on-line offers)

8:20...made and fed infant fruit and cereal to the twins, cleaned up Emma and Max from breakfast, got them both down and changed both their diapers

8:40...made my list for today, started to finish our budget when I was interrupted by Max crying because he fell off of the couch, then I had to stop Emma and Max from banging toys on the table and stop Abby from pinning Max to the floor.

9:00...tried to fill in my menu for the day on-line but it's not working, Jan brought me a caramel apple cider and a copy of the Scrolls...love you Jan!!)

9:20...twins down (changed Luke), Emma and Max down

9:30...Jan left, sent Abby outside

9:40...tried to add my menu again (it worked this time), checked some POTD blogs

10:00...Garrett came, got chalk for the kids outside

10:10...edited a few pics

10:20...kids want in, coloring out for them

10:30...checked a couple more POTD until the interruptions started (I should have learned by now that I can't be on the computer when they are awake). Stopped Garrett and Abby from chasing each other in the house and got them started playing with blocks

10:50...ate (ooops, forgot to do that earlier), between bites helped the kids clean up for Sesame Street

11:00...turned on Sesame Street for Abby and Garrett, got all for babies up from nap and changed 3 stinky's (what's up with the poopy diapers today?), changed Garrett

11:10...finished eating while checking e-mails and reading the 2Peas forum

11:30...made kid's lunch and mailed a bill, made twins bottles

12:00...washed kid's hands, gave Luke and Ryan bottle, kids at the table to eat, prepared for circle time and today's art activity

12:15...did the calendar and circle time while kids finished eating

12:30...helped Abby color and start painting

12:35...fed Luke and Ryan inf. vegetable and cereal (interrupted by Abby after finishing with one twin who has paint all over her hands...thank goodness it's washable), clean Abby's hands and send her to potty, wash her hands again and put on her pull-up while I feed the other twin. Got Max and Emma down

12:55...Inspected the bathroom for signs that Abby really did potty, wipe and wash her hands (good there is an unflushed potty with tp in it and soap suds in the sink), put Abby to bed and change Emma's diaper

1:05...Help Garrett with his activity, clean up Garrett and clean up the kitchen

1:25...change Luke and put him down, change Emma and put her down, change Max put him down, change Ryan and put him down

1:35...help Garrett clean up the toys

1:40...change Garrett and put him down

1:45...check photography forum

2:05...do my Scrolls (church lesson) and have a quiet time

2:45...edit Patrick and Noel's wedding pictures

3:15...snack ready, check the mail and go through

3:23...meet Madison's school bus, Garrett up and changed, Abby up and pottied and washed hands, twins up and changed, kids eating snack, downloaded a free border from another blog, completed my menu checklist on-line

4:00...gave twins a bottle then it got so busy I can't remember what happened next

4:20...Max up and snacked, dealt with a fight between Abby and Garrett over a truck

4:30...twins go home, Abby and Garrett go outside, Max and Emma down from snack, packed the diaper bag for Madison's open house tonight, comforted Abby who fell, made Emma a milk cup, read books to Emma and Max

5:10...Emma goes home

I'm not sure the order of everything else, or even everything else we did for the day. I do know that Garrett went home, Matt took Madison to acting class then we left for Madison's open house, went to Chick Filet for dinner, got the kids ready for bed and down and I'm sure watched an episode or two from 24 season 3 (this is how I unwind at the end of the day)
