Day 89...

Well, these aren't the most exciting food pictures ever, but I thought it would be fun to practice with a shiny object. I still haven't bought foam board so I used my ds's highchair tray as the backdrop. I duplicated the layer, lighted the duplicate until the background was solid white (instead of food stained like it normally is) and erased the breakfast bars back in.
I think breakfast bar is the longest phrase Max says well. It is so funny to hear him say it! He loves food and these are no exception!
**Funny side note: Max is also going through this stage where he calls every animal a cow. He has a cow in his room that moos and it has made quite an impression on him. Well, I guess he does know frog. He gets that one right everytime but only because he is surrounded by frogs. That is the theme of his room.
I finally remembered to put my watermark on these..woo hoo!!!!

Settings:
f/3.5 and 2.8
ss 1/50 and 1/80 (I woke up after the first shot)
ISO 200
natural light

HHCC Always Appreciated!!

The first one is a little birght - but I really like the second one. I always like richer darker colors and with the contrast against the white and the composition - I really like the second one - it almost looks 3-D which is really cool. Cute story about Max too :)

These are STAPLES around our house! We buy them in bulk at Costco! LOL!

And, funny thing, my daughters both call these bars something different. My oldest calls them "soft & smooths" (I guess because of the texture) and my youngest calls them "monkey bars." LOL! Kids are fun!

As for the photos...good work! I personally like the comp. of the 1st one better. And, your watermark looks great! :-) Beautiful logo!

Okay I'm going to even up the voting :) I like the second one best. I loke the bars on the angle better. Great job with the white background.
