Day 104...

What is wrong with this first picture. I just think having to wear a winter coat in the midst of these beautiful bluebonnets is just WRONG!!! I, being the sweet, loving, compassionate mother that I am, made my poor children take off their winter coats for the next few shots because, dernit, I was going to get a lovely picture of my children in the bluebonnets if we were going to drive all the way to the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival an hour away!!! The shots aren't the best, but still worth it to me. This is one of my favorite things about living in Texas. The bluebonnets for the month of April (basically) are beautiful!! Which shot of the kids do ya'll like best? One is a bit overexposed, well actually they are probably all just a bit overexposed. The way overexposed one had the best smiles I thought though. Hmmm...decisions, decisions. It was too cold to take the time to get my tripod out, adjust my settings carefully or remember my reflector. Oh well, there's always next year!

Settings vary! If you want them on a particular shot just let me know! :)

HHCC Always Welcome and Appreciated!!

I hear ya on the too cold to get the tripod out! It's still pretty brisk here in Ontario, Canada too. I like the last shot of the 3 children - their expressions. I LOVE the bokeh on the very last shot. Way to go!

I love the color and the clarity in these shots. Beautiful. Your children look like they are having the time of their lives. When my children were small, any excuse to take off their jackets was a treat to them.

These are wonderful shots, your children are gorgeous they look so happy sitting in the flowers. These need to be framed.

Your photo from yesterday is incredible, wow thats one amazing looking sky. Fantastic color.

I think I like the second one the best. It doesn't look too overexposed to me. What a beautiful setting for a pic with all your kids.

I like the color and skin tones of the 4th, but the smiles in the second ones. i would love to see some bluebonnets IRL. Do they have a sweet smell? I've never seen them, since i live in VA.

How fun - lucky you to be able to get this picture. My favorite is the bottom one of the kids. Really for 3 small children they are all pretty darn good.
