It's a Princess Tea Party

Abby had her birthday party at Chelsea's Tea Room and Boutique this past Saturday. They do a wonderful job! The kids started in the castle bounce house (I didn't get pictures of that just because there was no room to get a shot) then they picked out beautiful dresses and jewelry to wear and got some make-up/glitter nail polish etc. to wear. Next they had a ceremony to crown Abby the queen. My favorite part of the party was when the hostess asked Abby if she wanted to dub all of her friends princesses and she said most suredly, "No, I want them to be my guards.". I'm figuring she didn't want any competition with other princesses out there but much preferred to have her queenship protected. Soooooooooo Abby! tee hee!

Then they had a tea party complete with giggle tea (each with their own tea pot) and cookies, brownies, popcorn and pretzels. They learned about manners and the hostess (Chelsea herself) red them a book called "I'm a Little Teapot". Next it was time for the princess parade (didn't get good pictures there either) and then time to sit in the carriage and open presents. It was a wonderful party and fun was had by all!!

Why isn't Max in a dress? The other boy is and he looks thrilled about it!
