And Another Family...

I received a comment on a blog post recently about how beautiful all of my clients/families are. It is sooo true. Here is another beautiful family! I had the privilege of photographing this adorable angel when he was newborn! I can't believe how quickly they grow. You would think after three of my own I would be used to it, but somehow watching how quickly a child grows (especially in that first year of life) is such a miracle!!! I just love this family!!

I attended a seminar by Scott Kelby on LR this past Monday and he showed us a cool processing technique that is good for high contrast (almost either all dark dark and light light in the photo). I experimented with this silhouette and was just curious to see what the technique would look like on this photo. I am soo excited. I love the rainbow color of the sun ray and the subtle sky/grass that still shows some cool color in the background and the light shining around their silhouettes. What do ya'll think???

If you like it, here's the how to...

Move the sliders to..
Recovery +100
Fill Light +100
blacks (maybe around 16)
contrast +100
clarity +100
vibrance +100
saturation -65

the adjust blacks and saturation to taste.

Ok, those blue eyes are amazing. Did you enhance them or are they that natural??? I love what you did with the last photo.
