So Thankful...

I think each year I grow more and more thankful for the abundant blessings in my life. I also realize that I take so much for granted!! If I truly recognized each and every blessing in my life I don't think I would be able to feel any other emotion besides thankfulness!!

Each day I wake up in a warm, comfortable home filled with love in a country that allows me to worship freely. My husband is a gentle soul who desires first and foremost to please God and makes me laugh and whom I am so grateful to get to spend eternity with. My children are healthy and happy and bring me more joy than my heart can contain!! I have a family who loves me unconditionally and gave me a strong sense of purpose and self-esteem and who knows how to laugh! I have a job that doesn't feel like a job and I get to meet the most wonderful families and take a peek into the blessings in their lives. I have a church family who would do anything for me and my family and for whom I would do the same. And around this time next year (God Willing) we will be traveling to Ethiopia to bring home the newest member of our family, a sweet little baby boy named Sam (although he may not even be born yet). God is soooo good!!!
