What a fun Easter this year! We started off the day at church reflecting on the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. If you haven't seen the movie "The Passion" I highly recommend it. What a pure and perfect love our savior has for us!!
After church we had our traditional breakfast burritos at my house. It is always a joy to me to have the people I love the most in the world all together! After breakfast we had an indoor egg hunt (oh, it was fun to watch the grown-ups try to find 101 places in my living room to hide an egg). The fun continued with little ones down for naps and big ones jamming(for several hours, I might add) on Guitar Hero. After everyone left I had gotten used to the idea (even excited about it) that I would be ignoring my list for the day and Matt, Madison and I spent some time playing animal crossing. What a PERFECT day.
We won't mention the fact that I spent hours making a tie for Max that might have fit a newborn baby. After finding a pattern, buying the materials, sewing (with help from Mamaw) and then painstakingly pulling the material back right side out I didn't realize until Saturday night that it wasn't going to work. Oh well, he looks sooo cute in his tie/hat from Christmas.
Easter bunny siting!!
Watch out "naked chef" here comes Abby...
one can never have too much icing!

Did you see the new pillows I just made?? I used those same fabrics in the girls' dresses! I used the stripes and the dots, and I desperately wanted to use that swirly one, but there was a bit too much turquoise to work in my living room. But I love it! Their dresses are adorable. Did you use the dots of Max's tie? I have some leftover if you want it and want to try again. Looks like you guys had a really fun Easter!
