First Day of School 2009...

I'm am slowly coming out of denial that Ms. Abby Claire is now officially school-aged. I really thought I would be excited about her starting kindergarten. It is no secret that she is my spirited child and while I LOVE that about her personality and while I know God has some amazing things in store for her life that he's equipped her to tackle, it does make for patience trying summers. LOL!!! But, when I walked her into the school this past Monday I had to use every ounce of strength in me to swallow back the tears and put on a smile for my princess!

I was also really sad that I couldn't take Madison to her first day of intermediate school (they start at the same time) but was so grateful that Nani was there to do the honors! Madison has a locker this year and five different classes (still not sure how I feel about that one). She will even suit out this year! Seriously...she's growing up way too fast! How can I even handle all of the big things happening this year????

Abby's teacher won my heart of the first day of school when I forgot my camera. She quickly grabbed hers and said, "Use this one and I'll email you the pictures." That meant to much to me (oh crazy one that must have a photograph of every milestone). Seriously, how does a professional photographer forget her camera on her child's first day of kindergarten...oh, what's that you say, oh, yes, she was a basket case of emotions! :P

my big girls...

Can you tell who the ham in the family is?

feeling so big...

It's gonna be a GREAT year!!

I can't believe Abby is in Kindergarten. But even more, I can't believe Madison is in the 5th grade! They look great.

I've been waiting to see these pictures. So cute! Does Abby like school, and how did Madison do in intermediate? Tell them both that I miss them, and all of you!!

Noel...Abby loves, loves school. She is happy as a clam every day! She is however missing that afternoon nap and usually has to sleep from about 4-5:30 in the afternoon just to make it to bedtime (she is her mommy's daughter...poor thing!)
Madison is doing great too! Intermediate is a big change for her but, as always, she is adapting well! Meet the teacher is tonight so I am anxious to get a feel for what her day is like. She has to change classes four times during the day so I'm not super hip on that, but she seems to like it. We miss and love you guys too!!!
