Summer Fun

Wow...summer has been so busy this year! The kids are so big and ready for fun and I've vowed to make the most of my time with them. Next year Madison and Abby will both be in school and Max will be in a Preschool program four days a week. So, I am trying to cherish the time I have with them this summer. I am realizing that once a summer is gone, it's gone for good!

I am blessed that my photography business hasn't slowed down even with the Texas July heat so finding the time to get sneak peeks up hasn't happened as quickly as I would like, but I'm getting there! Here are two sessions from last week! We were amazingly blessed with cooler morning weather for both of these sessions. I am amazed with the rain we've had sporadically this week that I haven't had to reschedule a single session!

The beautiful mom in this first session was Matt's assistant principal. I say was because she and her hubby are moving. I'm guessing they are sitting in a sea of boxes now in their new home! I was AMAZED at how relaxed they seemed as this session was just a few days before the big move. No way could I have been organized to take the time to do a photo session a in the middle of a move and I especially could have not been as relaxed. I am so happy for them and their sweet baby. They are a precious family!!

This second family was a blast! The organizer for this cousins session is the assistant director at the preschool where Abby and Max went last year (and where Max will go back this year). My kids love her and I am so grateful that I have such a wonderful place for my kids to learn and grow. These kiddos were all so happy and fun! I could tell they are a close family! And, you probably will recognize the oldest girl. She was a senior sponsor for me last year! She's a beauty inside and out!

Simply delicious. I love your amazing color and your skin tones as usual, but I love how you went outside the box and took the babe out into the foliage. It really ads so much to the depth of the picture. Beautiful work.

WOnderful images in both of these sessions. I love the crisp coolness in the images--something I would never associate with Texas (I lived there, so I can say that). Gorgeous locations--love the fence/bacground with the little girl!
