SELAH STUDIOS PHOTO CONTEST BEGINS TODAY...

Time for our biannual photo contest...

Well, our photo contest is normally biannual, but this year we had the privilege of not only adding a baby boy to our family, but traveling to Ethiopia to pick him up! So, this year it's an annual photo contest! :) LOL

This time around we have two categories (infants/babies & children).

For the prizes (in each category)...


1st place...$120 print credit from the session or a future 2010 session
2nd place...11x14 from the session or a future 2010 session
3rd place...8x10 from the session or a future 2010 session
4th place...5x7 from the session or a future 2010 session

The contest will run from today until Wednesday, July 21st at 9pm CST. The winners will be announced by July24th. I have sent an email to each contestant, if you did not receive the email and would like to have your photo removed from the contest, just let me know and I will be happy to take it down.

HOW TO VOTE....
I will be experimenting with a new way to do the contest this year. I am going to create a gallery for each category on my Facebook Fan Page. Here So, in order to vote, your friends and family will need a FB account and will need to not only "like" the Selah Studios Fan Page, but will also need to click on your picture and "like" the picture too. The "likes" for each individual picture will be the votes. I have never done a contest in this way, so I am not sure of any problems that could occur. So, if we have any issues that come up, please be patient and understanding. Hopefully it will go smoothly! I will check the number of likes for each picture at 9pm on Wednesday, July 21st)

Each category will have a separate vote, so you will need to vote in each one.

Now it's time to enlist your family, friends, neighbors, email groups etc. to come and vote!
You can just share the status from the fan page and add a note asking your friends to vote as a comment!
