Day 13 of 365

Well, I really wanted to post a picture of my cross but I still (oh my) haven't put away my Christmas decorations. Well, actually they are in the garage waiting to be put away, I just haven't pulled the Christmas boxes out of the attic where I put away stuff to make room for my Christmas stuff. Anyway, the point is, my cross is in the attic. I just bought this "faith" thingy-ma-bopper at Hobby Lobby. I also bought Love and I'm still looking for a Hope. Let me know if you have any leads...:). My faith is my foundation. I have found the peace I've been searching for in giving it all to God. In understanding that He is in control I was able to put down all of the "I have to fix this or that" burdens. Life isn't any easier, I just am able to trust that it is all in His hands and draw strength from His love.

On to the 100 things about me (these have been so fun to read so I just had to participate)
These are in no way in order of importance

1. I am in some ways an only child(of my mom and dad together), middle child(of my half vs. my step siblings), oldest (of my step siblings) and youngest (of my half siblings). Do you have a headache trying to figure that all out???
2. I like cold weather
3. I can type really fast
4. My children mean everything to me
5. My hubby too...
6. I play the piano (less often now a days)
7. I can't figure out why I love to play the piano and take pictures because I'm a very left brained, analytical and organized person.
8. I love candles (orange ginger especially)
9. I love to cook (if only I had more time)
10. I broke my fingers playing soccer and had to have 3 surgeries (now I make the vulcan sign without even trying)
11. I am VERY competetive
12. I love Christian music (especially Jeremy Camp and Mercy Me)
13. I have a hard time falling asleep, even when I'm exhausted
14. I have a hard time waking up too (go figure)
15. I love flannel sheets in the winter
16. I love a clean house (although mine is never in that condition)
17. I met Arnold Swarzeneger (sp?) on location in his personal trailer while he was filming Comando (I think that was the movie)many years ago. I didn't even know who he was
18. I drink 2 mugs of Hazelnut coffee (half decaf/half regular) with liquid Hazelnut creamer every morning. If I go on a trip I have to take my coffee and creamer with me.
19. I hate to go anywhere by myself
20. I love to be home by myself
21. I hate to be tickled.
22. My kids are growing up too fast
23. I am a home daycare provider
24. I take care of 6 children every day ranging in age from 7 months-3 years.
25. I love long hot baths but rarely have time to take one
26. Chicken Florentine Panini sandwiches are my favorite meal
27. I am training for a half marathon
28. I have three children and if I can afford to stay home I want one more.
29. I have too much on my plate and have since I was in highschool
30. We are a one car family and have been for about 4 years (I think)
31. I loved being pregnant (except for the heartburn)
32. I crack my knuckles
33. I love necklaces
34. I'm almost 35 but I look like a teenager (that's actually beginning to be a good thing)
35. I hate going to the dentist (major anxiety)
36. I could stay in my pjs all day
37. I have to read a devotional and do a sudoku before I can fall asleep
38. If someone talks to me while I am falling asleep I'm up for at least 10 extra minutes
39. I love the rain
40. I graduated from college in 3 years
41. I was a teacher for 7 years before becoming a home child-care provider in order to stay home with my kids
42. I don't think I'll ever go back to teaching (I loved it but it's becoming too political)
43. I haven't scrapbooked for about 3 months and I wonder if I'll ever be back full steam
44. I love frogs (since I decided to decorate my son's room in frogs)
45. I don't watch much TV (except for sports, 24 and Extreme Make-over Home Edition)
46. I like quiet and had a quiet house until my second child was born (she's has no clue what quiet sounds like)
47. I'm afraid of driving over bridges.
48. I'm also a bit claustrophobic and afraid of heights.
49. I drink a Canada Dry every night for dinner (I so drink most of my calories)
50. I don't drink enough water (resolution...I'll start soon :) )
51. Rieces Pieces are my favorite candy
52. I went to Texas Tech and got a degree in Elementary Education
53. I met my husband at work...we were both teachers but didn't speak to each other for the first 2 1/2 years of working together
54. I love watching football and baseball with my husband (but I don't seem to have time to sit down any more)
55. I love pedicures
56. My husband and I are home group leaders at our church
57. I hate to drive
58. I was valedictorian of my preschool class
59. I am very analytical
60. I once rode horses and camped for 7 days in the Teton mountains
61. I used to play the clarinet
62. I love to plan my kid's birthday parties
63. I've worked with children is some way since I was 17
64. I lived in an apartment along the seawall(next to the Ocean) for a year
65. I love Ty Pennington (Extreme Make-over Home Edition)second to my hubby of course

71. my 3 year old just told us she wants to go to the zoo where Jesus was born

76. I don't get enough sleep (I need at least 9 hours a night)

78. my first car was a brown El Camino Super Sport with racing stripes (oh so embarassed)
79. I wrecked it by running into a parked truck
80. After it was fixed it was promptly stolen
81. I sleep on my side and pretty much don't move all night
82. My brother was killed in a motorcycle accident 24 years ago
83. I love the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Indianapolis Colts
84. I am very sensitive (less so than when I was younger, but still pretty sensitive)

87. I slipped down an embankment of mud once during a photo shoot
88. My first born was a Shihtzu named Popcorn
89. He was hit by a car when I was calling him to me (he was 11)
90. I would love to live in Maryland or Oregon (if all of my family could go too)

92. I read much more non fiction than fiction
93. I don't like to call people but I enjoy talking on the phone if friends call me first
94. I must use a toothpaste squeezer thingy...no squeezing from the middle
95. I'm bad about eating my vegetables
96. I take a benadryl every night and run my loud humidifier so I can sleep through my husband's storing
97. I love windows and natural light...especially when the weather is nice and I can open them
98. I hate to clean floors and bathrooms
99. I can't dance worth a flip
