Day 15 of 365

Well, this week we are supposed to be introducing you to our hometown. It would normally be the perfect day to get out as it's a holiday and I don't have any daycare kids, but as you can see by my picture it is very icy here. This is a butterfly bush in our backyard that should have been cut down at the end of fall, but I'm kinda glad we didn't because the icicles look so cool on it. I was born in Ohio and lived there since I was six and then moved to Texas so I don't get to see icicles very often anymore!

Settings:

Very nice, I like how you can see the twigs through the ice. Looks like it's gonna start dripping off at any moment.

Great shot, love the ice. But I find the background a bit ditracting, it would really pop if it was all black.

love the shot tho.

Great focus, neat picture! I never thought about shooting ice, but it's a cool subject. (couldn't resist!) :-)

I think this is a great capture. I like how the background is blurred out.

great picture. I have been waiting to get some pictures of ice here. It has been so unseasonably warm. I cannot wait to see more. TFS
