Day 16 of 365
Welcome to Mansfield...
This is where I live. I wouldn't call it my hometown because I grew up just a few miles away in Arlington, but I really like it here. Mansfield was once a small town but is growing quickly. However, there are still a few small town "spots". Today's POTD is the railroad track. I had a couple of minutes to get out of the house so I took my oldest dd with me to snap a few pics. I've been waiting for a chance to try the Orton technique and this was it. I don't know if I did it right but I still think it looks kinda cool.
Settings:
f/11
ss 1/100 (I think that's what it was)
ISO 800 (rats...forgot to change it) run through noiseware
HHCC Always Appreciated. There aren't many color in this to pop with the Orton technique, but don't hesitate to give your true opinion of the results.
